Our speaker will discuss how libraries add value to their corporations every day, how they can better communicate that value, and how they can make even greater contributions in the workplace. He is the author of more than a dozen books, including The Bottom Line: Determining and Communicating the Value of the Special Library and Listening to the Customer (co-authored with Peter Hernon). Based in Carlsbad, California, his consulting firm, JRM Consulting Inc., has worked with many libraries and local government groups on strategic planning issues, library management, and the evaluation and assessment of library services.
